Assistant Professor at Seoul Christian & Kimpo Universities
Worked across Nepal, India, and South Korea
Research Interests:
A journey across academia, research, and institutional innovation spanning South Korea, India, and Nepal.
Seoul Christian University
Teaching and mentoring students in computer science and AI-related subjects as a full-time faculty member. Responsibilities include course design, lectures, research supervision, and academic committee participation.
Kimpo University
Contributing as a part-time faculty member delivering lectures and academic guidance in information technology and artificial intelligence disciplines.
Kongju National University
Conducted cutting-edge research in federated learning, AI security, and healthcare AI under the IITP government grant. Published peer-reviewed papers on federated learning in healthcare and security defences against adversarial attacks. Supported by the Institute of Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation, South Korea.
Aviation Museum Nepal
Co-founded Aviation Museum Nepal — a unique museum housed inside a retired Airbus A330 aircraft near Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The museum preserves Nepal's aviation heritage and runs educational programs to inspire young Nepalis toward aviation careers. Member of ICOM (International Council of Museums).
Kongju National University
Doctoral research focused on federated learning, security in federated systems, and healthcare AI. Thesis work included designing defences against label-flipping attacks in federated learning using UMAP-based techniques. Supported by IITP government research grant throughout the doctoral programme.
REVA University
Graduate study in computer science with a focus on machine learning, fatigue detection systems, and applied data science. Published research on machine learning-based fatigue detection. Participated in national conferences and technology workshops.
Bangalore University
Undergraduate degree in computer science covering programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, database management, web technologies, and computer networks. Developed strong foundations in both theory and software application development.
Advancing the frontiers of AI through rigorous academic research in federated learning, security, healthcare AI, and intelligent systems.
Research on privacy-preserving distributed machine learning models for healthcare applications. Exploring how federated learning can enable collaborative model training across hospitals without sharing sensitive patient data, preserving privacy while improving diagnostic accuracy.
Research on defending federated learning systems against adversarial attacks including label-flipping, Byzantine attacks, and model poisoning. Developing novel defence mechanisms using manifold learning and anomaly detection to secure distributed AI systems.
Application of intelligent systems in detection, classification, and prediction tasks. Research spans fatigue detection, signal classification, multi-modal learning, and the application of deep neural architectures to real-world scientific and industrial problems.
Academic exploration of modern large language model architectures, their applications in education, research support, and natural language understanding. Interest in integrating LLMs with federated and privacy-preserving frameworks for sensitive domain applications.
